From prediabetic and overweight to accountability coach — here’s why I get it.
Hi, I’m Sam, a CPD-accredited, globally recognised accountability coach. I help women lose weight and take control of their health in a simple, sustainable way, with real support and zero judgement.
My story.
For years, I struggled with my weight. I’d eat well for a few weeks, hit the gym, then fall back into old habits. After having two kids and going through job stress, my health took a backseat. I skipped meals, snacked on junk, and watched my blood sugar rise year after year.
Then, in 2024, my GP told me I was prediabetic.
That moment was a wake-up call. I lost 10kg over 3 months with a low carb diet and then with a keto coach. The plan helped me drop the weight, but it wasn’t sustainable for me long term. Once my food choices opened back up, I found it hard to keep making the right decisions.
That’s when I tried accountability coaching for myself with Nikki Gundy, the queen of accountability coaching. I was blown away by how simple and sustainable the method was. What I really needed wasn’t another diet, but daily accountability. Not just a check-in once a week, but someone in my corner every day.
That experience led me to the Ontrack Method, which Nikki teaches, and to becoming one of the first globally accredited accountability coaches.
Why I coach.
After my own wake-up call with prediabetes, I realised how much difference the right kind of support can make. I know what it feels like to try diet after diet, to start strong and then slip back into old habits, and to feel frustrated when nothing seems to stick.
That’s why I coach. Because I’ve lived it — and I know that what most women need isn’t another plan, it’s a partner.
Now I work with women who want to lose weight to improve their health, or as part of preventing or reversing prediabetes. Many already know what they should be doing, but struggle to stay consistent on their own.
I don’t hand out meal plans or rigid diets. Instead, I provide structure, daily accountability, and the kind of supportive partnership that makes lasting progress possible.
